Eurofins offers a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking</p> <p>and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the</p> <p>warehouse and cold room, and keeping the work environment clean and orderly. May also be required to assist</p> <p>in kit assembly with labeling and assembling of medical diagnostic reagent kits to meet customer demands.</p> <p>Essential duties and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist shipping and receiving (verifying incoming shipments & RMA's) </li><li>Help manage cold storage materials by keeping refrigerators organized and reagent kits properly stored. </li><li>Prepare ship docs and work orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the designated areas. </li><li>Sort and place materials or items into proper locations according to organizational standards </li><li>Open and tear down crates, pallets, and other containers as needed. </li><li>Maintain inventory controls by assisting in the counting of physical inventory. </li><li>Assist in the kitting department by assembling kits in a timely manner. </li><li>Data entry </li><li>Responsible for assembling preventive maintenance kits. </li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations organized. </li><li>Wear the proper safety equipment </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must have a High School Diploma or GED </li><li>At least 1 year previous work experience in a similar position preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Computer Skills</p> <ul> <li>Basic Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. </li><li>Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox </li><li>Fedex/UPS/DHL shipping portals </li><li>ERP systems </li><li>Must be willing and able to learn other software programs as needed. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Excellent time management skills </li><li>Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail </li><li>Must be willing and able to work on various tasks to meet Operations requirements </li><li>Knowledge of FDA Quality System Regulations (cGMP) and International Standards (ISO) pertaining to medical devices preferably </li><li>Oral and written communication skills </li><li>Professionalism when working with co-workers and managers </li><li>Ability and willingness to follow detailed instructions and procedures </li><li>Must be able and willing to adhere to corporation personnel policies and practices, including attendance and punctuality requirements </li></ul> <p>Certificate and Licenses</p> <ul> <li>Must maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. </li><li>Reliable transportation </li></ul> <p>Reasoning Ability</p> <p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
