<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Product Configuration Analyst in Tampa, FL.</p> <p>Summary: The Product Configuration Analyst performs multi-disciplinary functions relating to product configuration development (internal/external), compliance programs and special projects. This role is primarily responsible for the development of customer catalogs in the configurator environment. Duties include, but are not limited to, interfacing with clients during project cycle, meeting project milestones and delivery dates, developing projects to further enhance Masonite International product lines and related analysis/recommendations.</p> <p>Duties Include:</p> <ul> <li>Interpret new customer offerings, develop, and deliver customer catalogs with a high degree of accuracy as verified by the code reviews, Footprints tickets, and customers, etc. </li><li>Enhance and maintain existing catalogs and pricing </li><li>Resolve catalog and pricing issues through troubleshooting and communication with other team members and customers in a timely manner </li><li>Perform, review, and testing of catalogs efforts for quality assurance </li><li>Ensure all release notes and documentation are complete and clear by referencing questions from testers or customers* Bachelors in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Technical Writing, Management Information Systems, Applied Sciences, or Computer Science is preferred </li><li>Proficiency in MS Suite tools </li><li>Communicates effectively and professionally with reporting managers, users, customers, and other IT personnel </li><li>Demonstrates integrity and professionalism </li><li>Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills required </li><li>Experience with translating business rules into technical requirements is preferred </li><li>Previous work as business systems analyst desirable </li><li>SQL preferred, they do not use this a ton </li></ul> <p>Business/Application Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Fundamental understanding of catalog development </li><li>Possesses a basic understanding of the catalog development tools and can navigate through them </li><li>Maintains a solid understanding of the Company's product lines and associated product configurations </li></ul> <p>Analysis Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Possesses excellent testing and troubleshooting skills </li><li>Ability to analyze problem situations with users and formulate a potential resolution to be reviewed and approved when necessary with the Lead Developer </li><li>Able to perform root cause analysis and determines a resolution path </li><li>Understands and follows proper project implementation guidelines </li><li>Ability to translate user requests, troubleshoot and resolve user-initiated discrepancies and communicate those to the appropriate staff as necessary </li></ul> <p>Project Management:</p> <ul> <li>Possess fundamental project management and organizational skills </li><li>Reports on project status in a timely fashion </li><li>Performs comprehensive review and testing of projects before release </li></ul>
