<p>Job Title: Child Psychiatrist</p> <p>Location: Hartford, Connecticut</p> <p>Employment Type: Permanent, Part-Time (2-4 hours per week)</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>Are you passionate about improving the mental health and well-being of children and families? We are seeking an experienced Child Psychiatrist to join our dynamic outpatient behavioral health team. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a leadership role while maintaining flexibility and work-life balance.</p> <p>As Medical Director, you will provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and guidance to a dedicated team of professionals committed to delivering trauma-informed, family-centered care. Most responsibilities can be performed virtually, with occasional in-person engagement for monthly staff meetings and limited direct patient care.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Center for Healthy Families, an outpatient clinic serving children and families. </li><li>Review and approve treatment plans and intake documentation. </li><li>Offer teaching and clinical supervision to staff and trainees. </li><li>Participate in monthly staff meetings and collaborate on program development. </li><li>Deliver limited direct patient care as needed. </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>Board Certification in Child Psychiatry (Double board certification in Child & Adult Psychiatry is a plus). </li><li>Active Connecticut medical license. </li><li>Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings. </li><li>Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to provide constructive feedback and foster a positive team culture. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience as a Medical Director or in a leadership role. </li><li>Familiarity with trauma-informed care, family systems, and Joint Commission standards. </li><li>Comfort with virtual platforms and telehealth delivery. </li><li>Commitment to ethical standards and quality care. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Flexible schedule between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, with most work performed remotely. </li><li>Monthly in-person staff meetings at the Center for Healthy Families, located at 555 Windsor Street, 1st Floor, Hartford, CT. </li><li>Collaborative, mission-driven team environment with satellite offices and community-based programs. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <ul> <li>Impactful Leadership Role: Shape the future of child and family mental health services. </li><li>Flexibility: Enjoy a part-time schedule that fits your lifestyle. </li><li>Supportive Team: Work with passionate professionals dedicated to making a difference. </li></ul> <p>Ready to make a lasting impact?
