As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects that improve lives. This position will last for the completion of the project, with potential for extension.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a key team member supporting all needs for project success. </li><li>Start the day on-site with the crew to ensure they have everything needed. </li><li>Perform all required documentation and record entry for the project. </li><li>Plan for upcoming days and weeks to set the crew and project up for success. </li><li>Work closely and communicate with Project Managers and Superintendents. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>High attention to detail. </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in construction or related field highly preferred. </li><li>Experience working in the field on large construction projects for a GC or EPC. </li><li>Subcontractor management. </li><li>Proficiency in Primavera P6. </li><li>Project coordination and planning/scheduling. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with concrete highly desired. </li><li>Experience working on a solar farm highly desired. </li><li>Associates degree, 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. </li><li>Travel required. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>Act as the General Contractor on an Enbridge-owned solar farm tying into a natural gas compressor station, metering, and mainline. Manage two union subcontractors who perform the work. Track materials and ensure all reporting, progress, and updates are communicated to the owner. The first project is located in Hartsville, TN, with a duration of 7 months. Monthly trips home include a long 4-day weekend. The onsite team includes a Superintendent, quality, and safety personnel. Reports to a remote Project Manager who makes frequent site visits.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $41.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
