<p>The Position</p> <p>DMV Services Managers plan, organize, coordinate, develop, and implement a broad variety of services and programs provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.</p> <p>Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors; develop policies and procedures; and allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives.</p> <p>This DMV Services Manager 2 position is primarily based at the Reno DMV Office within the Field Services Division - Training Unit. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, and managing a comprehensive training program for the Field Services Division (FSD). Key responsibilities include: Establishing annual training goals and objectives. Coordinating and providing guidance to FSD Program Officer III and Program Officer II trainers. Overseeing the development, delivery, and monitoring of training for AAA offices and county assessor offices. Evaluating the effectiveness of ongoing training programs and ensuring comprehensive training needs assessments are conducted. Ensuring all training activities comply with current laws, regulations, directives, and DMV policies and procedures. Developing course descriptions, lesson plans, student workbooks, and class materials that are relevant, concise, and comprehensive. Serving as the DMV Motor Voter Coordinator and ensuring all DMV offices comply with the provisions of NAC 293.4106. Assisting with the preparation of biennial budget proposals for the FSD training team. Preparing monthly reports on the administration, operations, and activities of assigned locations. Maintaining accurate training and shared calendars to effectively schedule training sessions and meetings. Under the authority of NRS 239B.010.1(b), the DMV utilizes NRS 205.4605 - 205.810, NRS 293.504, NRS 293.5045, 6 CFR 37.45, 49 CFR 1572.103, and 49 CFR 384.228 as criteria to obtain a FBI fingerprint clearance check on current and prospective employees.
