<p>PT BACKFLOW COORDINATOR</p> <p>CITY OF BARTLETT</p> <p>ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT</p> <p>PART - TIME BACKFLOW COORDINATOR</p> <p>SALARY $20.43 per hour</p> <p>This is a Part-Time Position - Approx. 20-24 hours/week</p> <p>Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Tracking yearly inspections of Residential and Commercial Backflow Prevention Devices(BPD's). </li><li>Documenting and maintaining an exhaustive database of all Residential and Commercial Backflow Prevention Devices(BPD's). </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Communication and correspondence with BPD owners about their yearly inspection. </li><li>Communication with plumbers who perform their yearly inspections. </li><li>Communication with the Engineering and Code Enforcement Departments. </li></ul> <p>Other Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills to serve our citizens yet also comply with the TN Department of Environment and Conservation. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook. </li><li>Experience in administrative duties preferred. </li></ul> <p>Specific areas of education, training and experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age of 18. </li><li>Valid TN Driver's license that must remain valid as condition of continued employment. </li><li>Must pass a driver's license and background check and physical exam, including a drug screen. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>A basic understanding of plumbing and BPD is important. </li></ul> <p>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
