<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job FamilySTAFF - Support Non-Exempt (SNE)Grade12Salary$22.95 - $27.45DepartmentSchool of Continuing Education & Professional DevelopmentReports ToProgram ManagerClosing DateJune 01, 2026FLSA StatusNon-ExemptFirst Review DateMarch 17, 2026</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Department Coordinator provides programmatic and departmental support within the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development while providing accurate program information to the community.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates the enrollment management function for the School of Continuing Education and Professional Development </li><li>Prepares enrollment reports, room utilization reports and program analysis </li><li>Prepares the course offering schedule for assigned programs each term </li><li>Researches and identifies potential new program offerings </li><li>Works with Continuing Education (CE) faculty in the coordination of courses, room availability, scheduling of rooms and facility requirements </li><li>Monitors class enrollment and student fee payment prior to start of class </li><li>Provides support to students on registration and course offerings </li><li>Provides support to new faculty/ adjuncts in the hiring process and integration to the department </li><li>Assists with program marketing and advertising </li><li>Attends community and college events to promote programs, as needed </li><li>Oversees part-time personnel and student assistant, as needed </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you need to succeed</p> <ul> <li>Associate's degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of experience in responsible administrative and clerical work; or equivalent combination of education and experience </li><li>All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution </li><li>Knowledge and understanding of college organization, goals, and objectives, policies and procedures </li><li>Extensive knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office applications </li><li>Possess proficient administrative skills including ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals </li><li>Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization </li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations </li><li>Knowledge of the principles of office management and practices </li><li>Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) </li><li>Possess strong organizational skill and ability to follow-up on assignments with minimal supervision </li><li>Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural and multi-ethnic cultural environment with staff, faculty, and students </li></ul> <p>Preferences</p> <p>Certain servicemembers and veterans, and the spouses and family members of such servicemembers and veterans, will receive preference and priority for this job vacancy.
