Consider joining us!</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>As an Adoption coordinator, you will play a key role in delivering ethical and transparent foster care, adoption, and support services by providing free, expert-level knowledge to prospective clients. In addition to sharing responsibility for organizational inquiries, this role will host informational meetings and support optimized data collection. This position plays a key role in representing the adoption programs of Children's Home and LSSMN agency to prospective clients and agency partners throughout the United States and internationally. Requires an ability to travel and work independently and an expert level of knowledge in order to help prospective adoptive clients and partners gain an in-depth understanding of all programming offered. Incumbent is responsible for handling a share of the 3,000 - 5,000 annual inquiries.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma and 5+ years related experience OR Associate's Degree and 2+ years of related experience. </li><li>Professional and/or personal experience with foster care or adoption preferred. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work with diverse populations and advocate for all people we serve regardless of race, color, ethnicity, religion, disability, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Ability to work remotely or in office, with occasional in-person requirements in Minnesota. </li><li>Ability to think critically, make independent decisions, maintain informational organization and structure. </li><li>Must have valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle and be insurable under agency policy. </li></ul> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Respond to all requests for information from prospective foster and adoptive clients with ethical, transparent, engaging and free information. </li><li>Lead presentations for prospective clients, partner agencies and key stakeholders through individual, group/public in-person and online information meetings. </li><li>Conduct thorough screening of prospective foster and adoptive clients to assess and advise on program eligibility. </li><li>Represent the Foster Care and Adoption programs of CH/LSS to prospective clients and agency partners through outreach events throughout Minnesota, and occasionally throughout the U.S. </li><li>Maintain optimized data collection through Adoption CRM Database. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>LSS/CH is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer of all people regardless of gender, race, culture, religion, ethnicity, protected veteran status and/or disability.
