With a combined legacy of resilience, Magnera will build personal partnerships that withstand an ever-changing world.</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction, perform finished product and in-process testing procedures and provide resulting information to Manufacturing, Process Engineering and Product Development as required by specification or as assigned by management.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>All tasks must be performed safely and in accordance with established ISO procedures. </li><li>Utilize control charts, histograms, and other Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and measurements effectively, and recommend improvements based on statistical data and observations </li><li>Operate all diagnostic equipment to fulfill job responsibilities. </li><li>Assist with Calibration and Material Systems Analysis (MSA) of test equipment where required. </li><li>Coordinate with Quality Leadership, Quality Engineer, Shift Supervisor, Line Leader, Production Technician, Process Engineer, and other Operations team members to resolve issues or discrepancies. </li><li>Actively participate in safety, product, and compliance audits </li><li>Accurately enter data into Quality Windows, analyze the data, and report trends that may indicate process issues. </li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for the QA and Operations teams. </li><li>Communicate effectively with internal customers as well as co-workers to solve problems and enhance capabilities of the team </li><li>Provide training to others as needed. </li><li>Fulfill additional duties as assigned, including active participation in root cause analysis and corrective actions stemming from Customer Issues and Internal Non-Conformances. </li><li>Promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization and ensure familiarity with product specifications and tolerances. </li><li>Meet production output requirements in a timely manner, while adhering to all departmental rules, regulations, and procedures. </li><li>Perform other assigned duties as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>At least 2 years' manufacturing experience. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Job functions will be carried out in the Quality Lab (environment controlled) and the Production (non-environment controlled) area. </li></ul> <p>EFFORT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must be able to lift to 25 pounds occasionally. </li><li>Requires the ability to prioritize work effectively and make informed decisions. </li><li>Proficiency in reading charts, documenting numbers, and recording events both on paper and digitally, required. </li><li>Able to interpret electrical indicators and laboratory equipment readings. </li><li>Able to follow written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Understands goals of the group and interact with digital and basic computerized record & control systems </li></ul>
