<p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Supervision of Technicians on assigned shift </li><li>Manage shop floor assignments coordinating with Director of Maintenance. </li><li>Assigns work to Technicians, making- adjustments as volume and priorities change </li><li>Ensure that all Technicians on schedule are properly logged onto the time clock for start of duty, break times, lunch, departure time </li><li>Ensure that all Technicians on schedule are properly logged onto the work/job they are performing </li><li>Proper procedure being followed for all Safety regulations </li><li>Shop cleanliness is left at agreed upon standards at end of shift </li><li>Performance input to Shop Leader Responsible for effectively communicating to the drivers/customers any issue related to the tractor/trailer is more extensive than originally diagnosed </li><li>Responsible for effectively communicating to the Operations on status and estimate time of completion of equipment. Also report all changes in previous estimated time of completion </li><li>Responsible to be the primary point of contact if there is any dispute between Shop employees and drivers/customers </li><li>Verify that Shop Equipment is utilized safely and is properly maintained </li><li>Verify that completed work has been done properly </li><li>Review work orders to ensure that correct information has been entered and that parts have properly been charged out </li></ul>
