<p>Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer in New York, NY.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform </li><li>Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices; Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Aura & Lightning Components, Web Services and API), integrations with back-office systems (often using middleware tools) and complex data migrations </li><li>Automate business processes using Salesforce automation tools, such as Flows, Workflows, Formulas, Assignment Rules, and email Alerts </li><li>Provide expertise and recommendation on when to use configuration vs. code vs off-the- shelf products </li><li>Provide application support by analyzing defects, replicating/fixing defects, and providing root cause analysis for defects </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve functional and performance-related issues </li><li>Participate in peer code reviews and unit testing </li><li>Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code </li><li>Participate in development workstreams, from design through testing and deployment </li><li>With project leadership, assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development </li><li>Communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams including business teams, product teams, global IT Apps teams, consultants and vendors* Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field </li><li>Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer I Certifications </li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in Salesforce Declarative development using Process Builder, Flows, Workflows, Lightning App Builder, etc. </li><li>Strong experience and knowledge in Salesforce Sales Cloud processes and capabilities </li><li>Deep understanding of Salesforce platform programming languages - Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, Aura, APEX, SOQL, and SOSL </li><li>Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Force.com platform </li><li>Proficiency in front end technologies like HTML, CSS and JavaScript Frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React, Knockout JS, etc. </li><li>Thorough understanding of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Salesforce Deployment/Packaging effectively using Metadata API, Changeset and Ant </li><li>Good understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies </li><li>Strong analytical, problem solving/decision making skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Salesforce Administrator Certification </li><li>Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification </li><li>Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification </li><li>Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification </li></ul>
