<p>Responsibilitiesarrow_right</p> <ul> <li>Operate material handling equipment and complete Forklift Operators' Daily Checklist as necessary. </li><li>Convey materials from storage or worksites to designated areas using FIFO methods. </li><li>Identifies and/or initiates appropriate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process, and quality system either directly or by recommendation through designated channels. </li><li>Controls further processing and delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency of unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. </li><li>Maintain an orderly and clean work area/zone using sound housekeeping methods. </li><li>Follow Standard Operating Procedures and/or Work Instructions applicable to the appropriate job assignment. </li><li>Read ship lists and follow oral and written communications regarding loading and unloading/proper movement or placement of materials or containers in the proper manner and quantity. </li><li>Perform daily computer transactions. </li><li>Coordinate activities with the supervisor to ensure smooth operation of all warehouse related activities. </li><li>Pick material/stock and process shipping orders/returns of surplus stock, while maintaining stock location integrity. </li></ul> <p>Qualificationsarrow_right</p> <ul> <li>High school graduate or equivalent certificate. </li><li>Working knowledge of a computer and its general use to accomplish basic transactions. </li><li>Understanding of FIFO and stock location integrity. </li><li>Able to read shipping instructions and production orders, and to accurately use weigh counting scales, label printers, and miscellaneous clerical supplies. </li><li>Able to work independently with little supervision. </li><li>Possess good communication skills. </li><li>Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while engaging proactively with colleagues. </li><li>Value for Customers: Delivers superior value through commitment to quality, service and reliability. </li><li>Innovation: Applies and shares ideas and best practices.
