The 2023-2025 salary ranges are listed for reference. </li></ul> <p>Position Purpose: Develop and implement student behavior plans and direct intervention under the direction of Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and MTSS team.</p> <p>Responsibilities 1. Student Behavior Management: with specific training in applied behavior analysis, collaborates with teaching and other school staff and families to increase positive behavior and student social/emotional development. Priority: Essential | Percent of Time: 80% Examples of this work include:</p> <ul> <li>Creates behavior support plans in conjunction with the MTSS team. </li><li>Implements direct intervention with the frequency, intensity, and duration necessary for each student's unique needs. </li><li>Monitors the implementation of behavior support plans by the Positive Behavior Technicians. </li><li>Sets goals, assesses progress, analyzes data, and modifies behavior support plans. </li><li>Collects data including frequency, duration, Antecedent-Behavior-Consequence (ABC), and interval data to develop and adjust student behavior support plans. </li><li>Attends staff and student meetings; communicates students' progress on goals. </li><li>Collaborates with team members. </li><li>Observes students to determine the generalization of skills. </li><li>Creates and maintains effective scheduling. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Professional Development: maintains, acquires, and expands position related theory and technical knowledge. Priority: Essential | Percent of Time: 15% Examples of this work include: </li></ol> <ul> <li>Completes 40 hours of applied behavior analysis training prior to hire or within 4 months of hire date. </li><li>Receives and maintains certification for nonviolent Crisis Intervention training prior to hiring or within 4 months from hire date. </li><li>Contributes to the implementation of special projects when assigned. </li><li>Participates in professional development opportunities in the area of Special Education and/or Regular Education Standards-Based Education. </li><li>Participates in all mandatory training or training appropriate to the position as required by the district. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>General Support: other duties as assigned. Priority: Secondary | Percent of Time: 5% Examples of this work include: </li></ol> <ul> <li>General student supervision as needed. This includes but is not limited to locations indoors and outdoors, such as lunchroom, bus stops, playground, classroom, assemblies, and kitchen. </li><li>Attends conferences and workshops toward present and future career development. </li><li>Participates in general staff meetings. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in a field of human services such as social services, education, psychology </li><li>Minimum three years of experience managing complex behaviors </li><li>Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions </li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills </li><li>Experience serving diverse populations </li><li>Experience working with children and families </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in a field of human services such as social services, education, psychology </li><li>Applied behavior analysis training </li><li>Experience working in a school setting </li><li>Knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) or Response to Intervention (RtI) </li></ul> <p>Application Procedures</p> <p>All applications for open Fargo Public Schools positions must be made via www.applitrack.com/fargo/onlineapp. Paper submissions will not be accepted.
