<p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to serve as the Funding Department Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing key aspects of the funding process, including preparing settlement statements, handling wire transfers, managing earnest money accounts, and providing support to escrow officers throughout the transaction lifecycle</p> <ul> <li>Co-manage the daily operations of the Funding Department. </li><li>Prepare accurate settlement statements for real estate transactions in a timely manner. </li><li>Set up, verify, and release wire transfers to ensure smooth and secure funding of transactions. </li><li>Manage and reconcile earnest money accounts in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards. </li><li>Collaborate with escrow officers to ensure successful and efficient closings. </li><li>Maintain detailed records and documentation related to all funding activities. </li><li>Assist in implementing process improvements and ensure adherence to industry best practices and internal controls. </li><li>Proven experience in escrow, title, or real estate funding operations. </li><li>Strong understanding of wire transfer procedures and escrow accounting. </li><li>High attention to detail and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Excellent communication and teamwork skills. </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements</p> <p>NOTE: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.</p> <p>Newmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
