The Firm's equity Sales & Trading operations provide liquidity, distribute content, and create product solutions to help our clients generate alpha. The Equity Financing Products department acts as a strategic partner to more than 800 top hedge fund managers: executing and clearing trades across asset classes, time zones, and currencies; providing financing and expertise to help manage risk and benefit from technology; and consults to help launch new funds and connect with them potential investors.</p> <p>PLACEMENT AND DURATION</p> <p>The Program length is six months, and you will be working under the supervision of a French qualified lawyer.</p> <p>The Transactional Management Group ("TMG") oversees the legal documentation in respect of structured products from Base prospectus to Final Terms (including distribution agreements, liquidity letters, etc).</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Providing transactional support to EMEA TMG in relation to structured products (i.e. notes, certificates or warrants) issued by a Morgan Stanley entity in relation to the following:</p> </li><li> <p>drafting and/or reviewing documentation such as Termsheet, Final Terms, Pricing Supplements and key information documents;</p> </li><li> <p>dealing with trade approvals using various systems and applications; and</p> </li><li> <p>arranging for settlement and listing of transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Drafting and/or reviewing legal documentation for bespoke trades.</p> </li><li> <p>Working closely with Sales, Trading, COO, and Operations on matters relating to the structured products business.</p> </li></ul> <p>This internship is available in our Morgan Stanley Paris office.</p> <p>TRAINING PROGRAM</p> <p>You will receive on-the-job training and benefit from working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS/ REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>You have strong legal skills that put you at ease with drafting documentation in French or English </li><li>You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written </li><li>You have excellent attention to detail </li><li>You are organised, pro-active, able to multi-task and work efficiently to tight deadlines </li><li>You are a proven team player and can manage a wide range of responsibilities </li><li>You are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards </li><li>You articulate complex ideas simply and summarise them effectively </li><li>You have an excellent academic background and fluency in English and French </li></ul> <p>Please only submit a CV and Covering Letter in English only as part of your application.</p> <p>Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
