Contracted monthly payments can range from $3,360 to $6,045 per month, depending on the support level of the individual served in your home, and this is tax-free income since it falls under the Foster Care Act. Vista Care goes through a matching process with potential Shared Living Providers and individuals seeking this type of setting to ensure there is a lifestyle match including interests, support level needs, and other preferences. You will have the opportunity to determine what level of care you're willing and able to provide, and the income earned is directly related to the level of support you provide.</p> <p>JOB TYPE: Independent contractor</p> <p>COMPENSATION RANGE: $3,360 to $6,045 per month</p> <p>LOCATIONS: El Paso County, Pueblo County, Elbert County, Fremont County, Teller County, Park County</p> <p>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide support for daily living skills such as cleaning, household duties, budgeting, cooking, medication administration </li><li>Teaching and assisting rather than doing (do with, not for) </li><li>Managing and scheduling medical appointments </li><li>Providing transportation to medical appointments, community events, day program, work </li><li>Daily documentation via a web-based Electronic Health Record </li><li>Community integration and socialization </li><li>Compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations and Vista Care's policies and procedures </li><li>Communicate with Vista Care representatives </li><li>Support any physical, mental, social and behavioral needs of the individual </li></ul> <p>BASED ON YOUR PREFERENCES, OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Assistance with bathing, using the restroom, dietary/feeding, etc. </li><li>Support medical protocols such as fall, seizure, feeding tube, elopement, etc. </li><li>Provide care for someone with more complex medical needs such as diabetes, hearing or vision impairment, mobility support needs, etc. </li><li>Provide care for someone with more complex behavioral needs </li></ul>
