<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Adult Education Program Facilitator needed. This program runs from September, 2025 to June, 2026</p> <p>Compensation is $50 per hour.</p> <p>This is a Part-Time, Non-Union position.</p> <p>There are no benefits associated with this position.</p> <p>Interested Applicants must apply online at www.milforded.org this posting to be considered.</p> <p>No phone calls please.</p> <p>Summary/ Goal of Position:</p> <p>This position is primarily responsible for providing oversight and management of the Connecticut Competency System (CCS), its coordination, quality data collection, and use in order to effectively implement and facilitate state-mandated programs for adult learners</p> <p>Essential Tasks of the Position (Illustrative, not inclusive)</p> <ul> <li>Represent program and provide input at facilitator meetings; </li><li>Share communications between director and other staff members; </li><li>Obtain answers to staff CCS inquires; </li><li>Connect assessment to instruction and insure quality data collection and use; </li><li>Insure security of testing materials and provide inventory information to the Bureau of Health/Nutrition, Family Services and Adult Education; </li><li>Effectively manage forms and data needed for quality data collection; </li><li>Evaluate test results with faculty to assist in student placement; </li><li>Regularly utilize data from CASAS assessments and LACES platform to provide feedback to students and teachers, making notable connections between assessments, curriculum, and instruction; </li><li>Review LACES data reports with program director and/or data processor to ensure accuracy for state and federal reporting purposes; </li><li>Create and oversee weekly attendance records for all state mandated classes to provide data processor relevant data for LACES platform; </li><li>Run LACES and CASAS reports once per month to ensure accuracy with data processor and for state and federal reporting and grant funding purposes </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for intake of all students in state mandated programs </li><li>Contact absent or disengaged students on a weekly basis to ensure support and retention of students in the program </li><li>Review and verify ABE/GED students' GED test eligibility as determined by the SDE </li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Adult Education to prepare yearly grant application with the SDE </li><li>Collaborate with Adult Education team to identify ways to increase student enrollment and retention </li><li>Perform other tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Adult Education </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>BA/BS degree </li><li>Exceptional computer skills and familiarity with CASAS and LACES platforms </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of and commitment to the CCS </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of and experience implementing the College and Career Readiness Standards (CCRS) </li><li>Ability to follow instruction </li><li>Ability to adhere to strict deadlines </li><li>Willingness to work toward continuous program improvement </li><li>Attention to detail </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Training and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>CCS Program Facilitator Certification training </li><li>LACES data management training </li><li>CASAS test administration training (in-person, virtual, and remote required) </li><li>Prior job experience working with adult learners preferred </li></ul> <p>Other Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Background check required </li><li>Screening for Tuberculosis (TB) required </li><li>Ability to obtain CASAS administrator certification within 90 days of hire </li><li>Ability to obtain LACES data administrator certification within 90 days of hire </li></ul> <p>Reports to:</p> <p>Director of Adult Education</p> <p>Work Year:</p> <p>Length of Adult Education Program, 9-11 months</p>
