<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The City of Greenville Recreation and Parks Department is seeking candidates for the Facility Attendant position at Jaycee Park Center for Arts & Crafts. This position will assist with organizing and conducting various recreation activities and events.</p> <p>Minimum Age: 18 years old, at the time of application.</p> <p>Terms: Year-Round</p> <p>Hours: Varies between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. This position will be 4 - 20 hours per week.</p> <p>This is a continuous posting and may close at any time</p> <p>Examples of Duties</p> <ul> <li>Answers telephone, provides the public with needed information; </li><li>Processes program registration and facility reservations; </li><li>Responsible for completing routine facility maintenance and housekeeping; </li><li>Collects fees, payments, and makes deposits; and </li><li>Assists in the preparation of publicity materials and promoting events. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Prior experience in a recreational setting is preferred. </li><li>Knowledge or the ability to maintain art or pottery equipment properly preferred. </li><li>Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. </li><li>Ability to utilize registration software. </li><li>First Aid and CPR Certifications are required within 60 days of hire. </li></ul> <p>Special Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without accommodation. </li><li>Must possess a valid driver's license issued by N.C. or another state </li></ul>
