If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess strong leadership qualities, we encourage you to apply!</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Leadership and Coordination </li></ol> <ul> <li>Lead and motivate a team of hourly associates within production, packaging, and shipping areas. Set clear priorities, assign tasks, and balance labor to achieve your team's output goals. </li><li>Conduct start-of-shift huddles to communicate crucial safety topics, targets (KPIs/throughput), quality alerts, and staffing decisions. </li><li>Provide on-the-floor coaching, offering real-time feedback to associates. Effectively escalate issues to supervision as necessary. </li><li>Track hourly performance metrics, including downtime and first-pass yield. Prepare and submit daily production reports. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Safety and Compliance </li></ol> <ul> <li>Exemplify and promote a culture of safety by modeling safe behavior at all times. Enforce personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, lockout/tagout procedures, and pedestrian-forklift traffic rules. </li><li>Assist with safety inspections, complete near-miss reports, document incidents, and ensure corrective actions are taken. </li><li>Maintain a 5S-compliant work area (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Forklift and Material Handling </li></ol> <ul> <li>Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods efficiently. </li><li>Load and unload trucks, stage pallets, feed production lines, and manage scrap and rejects while ensuring the integrity of products is maintained. </li><li>Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any unsafe equipment by tagging it out and ensuring safety protocols are followed. </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Quality and Documentation </li></ol> <ul> <li>Verify the accuracy of bills of materials, lot codes, labels, counts, and packaging specifications.
