<p>Job Description:</p> <ul> <li>Position Code: ADJOL </li><li>Job Type: PT Adjunct </li><li>Traditional On Ground or Online class: Online Synchronous </li><li>Undergraduate or Graduate class: Graduate </li><li>Date class is scheduled to begin: January 12, 2026 </li><li>Class schedule: 16-week semester (Online with synchronous meetings) </li><li>Duration of class: 16-week semester (Online with synchronous meetings) </li><li>Time of class: Weekly synchronous meetings on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM </li></ul> <p>Curriculum Design and Assessment: Using a case study approach, students learn to select, construct, use and interpret non-discriminatory and developmentally appropriate assessments relevant to diverse learners with mild and moderate disabilities. The Massachusetts Frameworks are used to guide decisions in both curriculum and instruction and ways to prepare and maintain students in general education. Course assignments are designed to help students gain an understanding of educational terminology utilized with students with special needs; and differentiated instruction and ways to implement meaningful instruction for all students, especially students with disabilities by designing and modifying curriculum and instructional materials.</p> <p>Compensation: $500 - $1,200 per credit.
