Join us.</p> <p>As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the CIB Payments, Merchant Services, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core solution architect, you are responsible for conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Engages technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs </li><li>Defines the technical target state of their product and drives achievement of the strategy </li><li>Participates in architecture governance bodies </li><li>Evaluates recommendations and provides feedback on solution options </li><li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems </li><li>Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information </li><li>As a member of the team, build trusted relationships with business and technical decision makers in the customer's organization to provide business and technical thought leadership </li><li>Identifies opportunities to modernize platform capabilities along with business initiatives </li><li>Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems </li><li>Practical cloud native experience </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>8+ years of hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability with software patterns and principles</p> </li><li> <p>Hands on building onboarding experiences, self service and assisted</p> </li><li> <p>Strategic mindset in shaping onboarding transformation for payments business - includes digital onboarding, self servicing experience for clients, partner integration</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understand of acquiring payments onboarding and various complex client setups like Integrators, Franchise, Payment Facilitators</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of various onboarding steps including KYC, credit, risk, screening</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced knowledge of one or more software, applications, and architecture disciplines</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)</p> </li><li> <p>In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems</p> </li><li> <p>Practical cloud native experience</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience in APIs</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to understand business requirements, create design, create technical delivery roadmap and technical know how's</p> </li><li> <p>Strong Experience as a functional architect (business / product)</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with domain model, understands business process flow, client experience and use cases</p> </li><li> <p>Understands business capability, features taxonomy</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and leadership presence</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Point of Sale experience is a plus </li><li>Cloud certification is a plus </li></ul>
