As a Supplier Quality Engineer at Hydro-Gear, you'll</p> <ul> <li>Administer and improve supplier quality programs with responsibilities for system, process, and product audits and scorecard activity. </li><li>Work daily with purchasing, inspection and suppliers to resolve quality related issues; disposition non-conforming material; support buyer in providing fit for use materials </li><li>Validate Supplier APQP functions </li><li>Ensure timely and effective supplier corrective actions </li><li>Implement and maintain an effective reporting system for key issues and opportunities for improvement in supplier quality performance </li><li>Develop suppliers' use of quality and statistical tools in problem identification and resolution </li><li>College degree with manufacturing experience preferred </li><li>Willing to travel up to 40% domestically & up to 10% internationally - majority of travel being scheduled visits. </li><li>Preferred college degree with at least one year of manufacturing experience or technical degree with at least 3 years of manufacturing experience. </li><li>Up to 50% of scheduled domestic & international travel. </li></ul>
