<p>Expeditor / Purchasing Clerk Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and proactive Expeditor/Purchasing Clerk to support our Inside Sales team and coordinate purchasing, expediting, and communication across departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. In this role, you will interact with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of inventory and special orders, process returns and provide support for sales proposals and order fulfillment. <strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>____</strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong></strong> Key Responsibilities: • Conduct daily purchasing for stock and special orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. • Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with suppliers in line with company policies. • Manage Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), vendor returns, and credits. • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. • Notify customers and internal teams of any delivery delays and propose solutions. • Confirm production orders, ensuring all components and labor requirements are included. • Arrange and manage transportation logistics for goods. • Prioritize urgent requests and identify alternative sourcing options when needed. • Assist field sales and internal departments with product knowledge, pump sizing, and technical support. • Support proposal generation, order processing, and project coordination for sales teams Qualifications We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role. • High School diploma or equivalent required. • 1-3 years of experience in purchasing, expediting, or customer service. • Strong organizational and time-management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Good analytical and mathematical skills. • Able to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities quickly. • Creative problem-solving mindset and a strong sense of urgency.
