The preferred work location for this position is our North American headquarters in Columbia, Maryland near the Baltimore Metropolitan area.</p> <p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Design, integrate, and deploy voice communications systems / subsystems for R&S Air Traffic Controller projects. </li><li>Develop system design and documentation according to customer requirements. </li><li>Create technical proposals, configurations and quotations. </li><li>Serve as technical interface between customers, R&S product design team, and program leadership. </li><li>Translate customer needs into requirements and competitive solutions maximizing R&S content. </li><li>Work closely with the product engineering teams based in Europe and North America. </li></ul> <p>Exciting insights into Rohde & Schwarz</p> <p>Our colleagues provide insider information about:</p> <ul> <li>Daily adventures and challenges </li><li>Our passionate team </li><li>The technologies behind the innovative projects and solutions </li></ul> <p>Your browser does not support the video tag</p> <p>Your qualifications</p> <ul> <li>B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or relevant engineering degree. </li><li>5+ years of experience designing and deploying systems for critical infrastructure customers. </li><li>Solid understanding and experience in IP networking/VoIP or similar. </li><li>Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint. </li><li>Proficient with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Cameo, or similar. </li><li>Excellent technical writing skills. </li><li>Strong communication and customer interface skills (verbal and written). </li><li>Proactive, highly organized, analytical and self-managed. </li><li>Ability to travel throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 30%. </li><li>US citizen capable of receiving a US Government security clearance. </li></ul> <p>Interested?</p> <p>We are looking forward to receiving your application!</p> <p>The total compensation for this position is $100K-$180K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
