<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position is responsible for providing critical support to the Overdose Death Initiative (ODI), including Division of Criminal Investigation personnel and statewide anti-heroin task force affiliates, providing program and analytical support, investigative lead management, information sharing and tactical support. Responsibilities include management of database information for all affiliate members throughout the state; maintaining affiliate requests for assistance, training, and equipment; and acting as a liaison with the ODI supervisor for tracking of requests for investigative support and financial information. This position interacts with task force affiliate members and other DCI ODI members. This position may also be responsible for assisting with anti-heroin and overdose investigation training sessions and other educational materials.</p> <p>For more information, review the position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>The Program and Policy Analyst - LTE position is in pay schedule 07 and pay range 04. The starting pay will be between $28.00 and $34.03/hr. Pay for current or former state employees will follow the provisions found in the State of Wisconsin Compensation Plan effective at the time of hire.</p> <p>NOTE: LTE positions are limited to working a total of 1,039 hours in 26 consecutive pay periods (1 year).</p> <p>NOTE: Wisconsin residency is required for LTE positions.</p> <p>NOTE: LTE positions are not civil service classified positions, do not have any rights to permanent civil service classified positions, and do not lead to permanent status.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>This position may be eligible to work remotely as part of a hybrid schedule following an initial training period, including reporting on multiple consecutive workdays to the assigned headquarters as needed. Travel to the headquarters is not eligible for travel reimbursement. High speed internet access is required to meet the needs of remote work.</p> <p>Occasional in-state travel will be required. Must be eligible to drive when required for travel.</p> <p>The Department of Justice does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required Employment Eligibility Form I-9.</p> <p>An extensive background check, including fingerprints, drug screening and psychological evaluation will be completed on all DCI applicants prior to selection.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Please address the following in your resume and/or letter of qualifications:</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants must have the following education, training and/or experience:</p> <ul> <li>Organizing and managing data or case files through spreadsheets, databases, or filing systems. </li><li>Utilizing case management or investigative systems (e.g., ACISS or similar software system). </li><li>Background in criminal justice, public health, or a related field. </li><li>Working collaboratively alongside external partner agencies or departments (i.e., police departments, drug enforcement agencies, etc.). </li></ul> <p>In addition to the minimum qualifications, a well-qualified applicant will also have a combination of education, training, and/or experience:</p> <ul> <li>Working with overdose investigations or drug-related casework. </li><li>ACISS or a similar software system advanced hands-on experience. </li><li>Organizing equipment or technology utilized in investigations (e.g., managing digital evidence, keeping track of devices, or maintaining tools used in the field). </li><li>Analyzing substance use trends or public health data (i.e., overdose patterns, drug use data, etc.). </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
