<p>Shift: 4:45 PM-3:45 AM</p> <p>Hourly Rate: $20.91 an hour</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Carton Machine Operator is responsible the following operating, managing efficient operation of the cartooning equipment, facilitating the packing of finished product promptly, completing all required paperwork promptly, and observing all safety regulations and ensuring GMP and quality standards are met. You will work onsite in Council Bluffs, IA. You will report to the production Team Leader for the area assigned.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position </li><li>Read, write, and comprehend written English. </li><li>Move up to 40 lbs </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Obtain daily schedule and supplies needed for production </li><li>Complete required paperwork in English promptly (e.g., centerline, CI inspections, minor stop tracking) </li><li>Perform safety check on equipment being used to ensure it is functioning properly </li><li>Maintain efficient operation of packing equipment </li><li>Ensure cases of carton blanks and glue chips are staged (numbers, versions on labels) </li><li>Fill carton magazine with stacks of carton blanks </li><li>Verify carton codes to ensure accuracy </li><li>Clear minor jams, reset and start equipment </li><li>Fill glue dispensers and label printers </li><li>Ensure good housekeeping (e.g., sweeping, mopping) </li><li>Participate in PM, drumbeat, and AM activities as assigned (varying start times) </li><li>Can read a work order and receive verbal instructions from supervisors/leads </li><li>May perform general labor responsibilities as assigned </li><li>Complete centerline sheets </li><li>Downtime tracking in English </li></ul> <p>Skills Required:</p> <ul> <li>Understand the effects of product damage and loss </li><li>Knowledge of GMP's </li><li>Be LOTO certified </li><li>Knowledge of normal/routine </li><li>Work with pork, chicken, beef and shellfish products in addition to many other ingredients and allergens </li><li>Be PIT certified, by area </li><li>Submit work orders, by area </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education: High school diploma or GED.</p> <p>Experience: Minimum 3 months' production or related experience required.</p> <p>Anticipated Close Date: September 29, 2025</p> <p>Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa</p> <p>Our Benefits:</p> <p>We care about your total well-being and will support you with the following, subject to your location and role:</p> <ul> <li>Health: Medical, dental and vision insurance, company-paid life, accident and disability insurance </li><li>Wealth: Great pay, 401(k)/pension eligibility, financial wellness programs and stock purchase plan </li><li>Growth: Career development opportunities, employee resource groups and team collaboration </li><li>Balance: Paid-time off and volunteer opportunities </li></ul> <p>Our Company:</p> <p>At Conagra Brands, we have a rich heritage of making great food.
