<p>Pay Range: The expected base pay for the position is $18-$27 per hour and may be increased based on other factors, such as language, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Primary Function:</p> <p>Under the supervision of the Medical Records Supervisor, the HIM Coordinator Level II will process medical records, maintain and organize medical records files and prepare records for mailing as requested.</p> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review Medical Records to ensure correctness and completeness </li><li>Answer telephone, respond to patient & third party inquiries regarding forms, medical records requests </li><li>Process Medical Records following stablished protocols - copy, print, create PDF files, download information to a CD </li><li>Scan signed documents into EHR - print identifying barcode, describe document and upload to proper section of the electronic health record </li><li>Route reports to medical providers via EMR </li><li>Copy/paste ambulatory reports from different systems into EPIC and route to provider for signature </li><li>Follow up with medical providers via email, phone and fax </li><li>Pull Radiology jackets for next day appointments, log-in and file returned jackets, track mammogram and regular X-ray films </li><li>Retrieve files from storage facilities </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor </li></ul>
