<p>We're seeking experienced Structural Engineers to support a growing backlog of parking garage inspection projects across New York City. If you have hands-on experience with DOB-compliant inspections, concrete restoration, and structural assessments of elevated parking structures, we want to hear from you!</p> <p>Description</p> <p>We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QPSI Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license and have at least two years of experience in a related engineering field. This role involves working on specialized projects throughout New York City, with a primary focus on parking garage structures.</p> <p>If candidate doesn't have QPSI license, must have 2 years minimum of relevant experience with parking garage inspections</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and support engineering projects focused on parking garage design, assessment, and rehabilitation across NYC. </li><li>Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and specifications. </li><li>Conduct site inspections and structural evaluations to ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards. </li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and city agencies. </li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of quality control and assurance procedures. </li><li>Stay current with industry regulations, especially those related to parking structures and urban infrastructure. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <p>Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.</p> <p>Minimum of 2 years of relevant engineering experience with parking inspections</p> <p>QPSI certification is preferred; support will be provided to obtain certification if not currently held.</p> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> <p>Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.</p> <p>Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.</p> <p>Opportunities for professional development and certification support.</p> <p>Collaborative and innovative work environment.</p> <p>Workplace Type</p> <p>This is a fully onsite position in New York,NY.</p> <p>Application Deadline</p> <p>This position is anticipated to close on Sep 5, 2025.</p> <p>About Actalent</p> <p>Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
