<p>We are looking for a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to work closely with our Mid-Market sales teams. The Pre-Sales Systems Engineer's main mission is to support the Sales organization in all technical matters related to pre-sales, opportunity management, and customer success.</p> <p>As a Systems Engineer, you will enable sales engagements with a set of new and existing accounts. You will play a pivotal role in discovering and assessing IT business goals and challenges. You will develop solutions based on those requirements using the Fortinet product and service portfolio. You will provide compelling and accurate presentations of those solutions to the customers or Fortinet partners.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assess customer project requirements </li><li>Align customer needs with appropriate Fortinet solutions </li><li>Partner with internal peers to pursue sales opportunities </li><li>Provide expert network and security technical guidance in pre-sales engagements </li><li>Cross-team collaboration </li><li>Continuous self-improvement and learning to maintain technical leadership in applicable technologies </li><li>Ensure ongoing customer success, support, and growth </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>3 years relevant pre/post-sales experience and bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field subject </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in a related field </li><li>Up to 50% Travel </li></ul> <p>A strong proficiency in:</p> <ul> <li>Cybersecurity fundamentals, including common cybersecurity issues, threats, attacks, and vulnerabilities </li><li>Principles of cyber threat management and incident response </li><li>Networking fundamentals including the OSI model and specifics of common network protocols </li><li>Critical thinking </li><li>Professional communication and presentation </li></ul> <p>General knowledge of at least 2 of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Network operations </li><li>Breach detection and prevention </li><li>Security operations </li><li>DevOps </li><li>Wired and wireless access </li><li>Identity and access management </li><li>Public and private cloud </li><li>Web content and security acceleration </li></ul>
