<p>Assistant Branch Manager</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced branch sales and operations professional to support our leadership team at our Block Island Branch. This position will directly supervise, coach and mentor the Retail Flex Bankers staff.</p> <p>Sign on bonus of $1,000 after 6-months of successful employment.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assure that bank policies and procedures are adhered to and followed</p> <p>Coordinate work schedules</p> <p>Manage and supervise cash/currency handling and controls as well as security and audit functions</p> <p>Mentor and coach employees in their assigned accountabilities including cross training all staff to be proficient in all operations and sales functions</p> <p>In collaboration with key staff; conduct staff meetings, prepare and issue performance evaluations and implement disciplinary actions when appropriate</p> <p>Service customers both in a teller and banker capacity, including; account maintenance, lending, opening and maintenance of deposit accounts, cross selling and referrals</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Previous branch banking experience</p> <p>3 to 5 years of previous supervisory experience</p> <p>Strong customer service and sales skills</p> <p>Ability to coach and mentor to sales initiatives</p> <p>Flexibility with work schedule</p> <p>Location: Block Island, RI</p> <p>Full time: Monday-Wednesday 8-4pm, Thursday-Friday 9-5pm</p> <p>Our employees create an environment of trust and exceptional experience for our customers.
