Assist the Director in creating work schedules of the Athletic Maintenance employees to ensure</p> <p>proper coverage and tasks are completed for all athletic events. Consult with the Director and make recommendation for capital equipment replacement and personnel work assignments.</p> <p>Qualifications: Must have at least 10 years of experience in ground maintenance, building operations, general maintenance and construction.</p> <p>High School Diploma requried, associate's degree preferred.</p> <ul> <li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Supervision skills </li><li>Ohio certification for herbicide handling will be required </li><li>CDL for forklift and dump truck operation ("P" not "S") </li><li>Knowledge of electrical systems </li><li>Knowledge of appropriate handling of chemicals such as: Pesticides, Herbicides, Fertilizer, Lime, Paint, Salt, Adhesives, Cleaning fluids and compounds, Liquid tar </li><li>Knowledge of appropriate handling and use of equipment such as: Trucks, vans, dump trucks, Trailers, Tractors, Bobcats, Forklifts, Snowblades, Salt spreaders, Mowers, trimmers, leaf blower and weed eaters, Lathe, Hand and power hand tools, Ladders, Back hoe, Man lift, MIG and STICK for welding, cutting torch, Electrical tester, Hilti drill, Gauges, Sprayers, Recovery machines, Vacuum pumps, Aerator, Ditch digger, Drain Snakes. </li><li>Must have a general knowledge of the building trades and OSHA standards as it relates to this work practices </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per year.</p> <p>Per salary schedule at Lakota, starting at $18.67 per hour, based on verified previous experience.</p> <p>View an attachment for any special requirements and job description under "Apply/View Open Positions" at www.lakotaonline.com</p> <p>Application Procedure: Apply online at www.lakotoanline.com through the Butler County Area Application Consortium.</p> <p>Selection Procedure: Following the review of all internal applicants, administration will review all applicants who have completed an on-line application at www.lakotaonline.com</p> <p>Current Lakota employees must create a user account and application in the Butler County Area Application Consortium to apply for these positions.</p> <p>Applicants that are offered positions shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCII criminal background check.
