<p>MAZACAM CNC Programmer- Remote Contract Position</p> <p>Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally 1-2 weeks per month</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>6-12 month contract</p> <ul> <li>Connecticut and Italy Travel Required </li></ul> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with expertise in MazaCAM programming for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak QT-450M machines.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills, hands-on machining experience, and the ability to optimize processes for efficiency and</p> <p>precision.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, edit, and optimize MazaCAM programs for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak Quickturn QT-450M machines. </li><li>Establish new manufacturing and inspection processes from BP to assembly. </li><li>Set up and troubleshoot CNC lathe operations to ensure high-quality production. </li><li>Collaborate with engineers and machinists to improve machining processes and cycle times. </li><li>Conduct test runs and adjust programs to enhance accuracy and efficiency. </li><li>Provide technical support and training to on-site machinists as needed. </li><li>Travel to Italy to support production and programming needs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in CNC programming with MazaCAM for Mazak QTE-300M SG and Mazak QT-450M. </li><li>Strong knowledge of GD&T. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Mazak controls, tooling, and machining best practices. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings. </li><li>Experience with CNC lathe setup, troubleshooting, and process optimization. </li><li>Willingness and ability to travel to Italy one week per month. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. </li><li>Ability to work independently and within a team environment. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>MazaCAM a must </li><li>Mazak lathe experience a must - able to set up </li></ul> <p>new machine</p> <ul> <li>SolidWorks experience </li><li>Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment </li><li>Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software for offline programming </li></ul> <p>Contract Details:</p> <ul> <li>Duration: 6-12 Months </li><li>Travel: One week per month to Italy </li><li>Compensation: Competitive based on experience </li></ul> <p>If you are a skilled MazaCAM CNC Programmer looking for a dynamic short-term opportunity with international travel, we encourage you to apply!</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $70.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
