<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <p>Serves as the SCNG Site Representative for military activities at the Savannah River Site with other local, State and Federal entities. Responsible for developing and managing the Agency's DOE-SRS Plan and synchronizing its execution. Works under the direct supervision of the McCrady Training Site Manager who provides general administrative and policy direction. Develop plans and evaluation criteria supporting the integration of plans, programs, and resources to maintain the Agency's DOE-SRS Training Plan. Responsible for the evaluation and assessment of progress of the initiatives and efforts. Conducts continual reviews of the Agency's DOE-SRS Plan and provides assessments. Designs and oversee the planning process using administrative systems analysis and design techniques. Provides expertise and advice to Agency leadership on the integration of near, mid, and long-term plans, programs, and resources. Provides input to the Agency leadership on the prioritization and allocation of resources. Develop recommendations to resolve substantive problems of strategic, business and organizational planning. Coordinates Agency planning activities and coordinates with appropriate other local, State and Federal entities to synchronize with the Agency's SRS initiatives. Is encouraged to use own initiative in accomplishing tasks and duties while adhering to the policies of the Agency, and State and Federal laws and regulations.</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>A high school degree or equivalent, and 1 year of experience in a planning position. One (1) year of experience in coordinating with government stakeholders.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in military planning, operations and training, and minimum 5 years of experience working with the SC National Guard.</p> <p>Additional Comments</p> <p>Knowledge in methods and techniques on issues concerning plans and programs. Able to develop recommendations to resolve business and organizational planning problems; complete broad, difficult projects; assess and improve program effectiveness. Knowledge of planning principles, techniques and practices and able to analyze planning issues to advise on formulation of Agency plans, and programs. Able to prepare long and short-range program planning guidance in support of the Agency's DOE-SRS objectives. Skill in oral and written communications to articulate findings and recommendations to audiences, including senior local, State and Federal officials. Must be eligible to be issued a Common Access Card (CAC) and DOE-SRS Site badge. Individual may be required to work extended hours as required. Overnight and extended stays may be required to support ongoing operations, and during attendance at conferences, workshops, off-site meetings and seminars.
