<p>Position Description</p> <p>Producing Mortgage Sales Manager</p> <p>Identifying Information:</p> <ul> <li>Department: Mortgage Lending </li><li>Reports To: Kevin Strehle, Director of Mortgage Lending </li><li>Location: Cincinnati Market with home office location TBD base on incumbent </li><li>Status: Full-Time Salaried Exempt </li><li>Compensation: Base salary and incentive compensation plan </li><li>Travel: Some travel required within full LCNB footprint </li></ul> <p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>LCNB National Bank is seeking a Producing Mortgage Sales Manager to join our Mortgage Lending Department. This position manages the development and administration of mortgage lending activities to assist in the building of the Bank's mortgage loan sales. The Producing Mortgage Sales Manager ensures policy compliance with regulatory requirements to foster a sound lending function. This position is responsible for originating their own mortgage loans as well as developing and managing a team of Mortgage Loan Officers. Partnering with Mortgage Loan Officers to resolve complex mortgage lending issues, coaching, training and overseeing day-to-day responsibilities are also required duties of this position. The Producing Mortgage Sales Manager promotes bank products and services for mortgage lenders and clients and assists in developing new business, originating and closing of mortgage loans. The Mortgage Sales Manager represents the bank in the market area through active participation in community affairs.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assists on interviews with applicants to determine eligibility, feasibility of loan structure and approvability requirements including review of applicant's financial status, credit, and asset evaluation </li><li>May assist mortgage lenders or underwriters with the review of applicant credit reports, verifications and other information pertinent to loan applicant's evaluation </li><li>Resolves uncertainties relating to customer application information through inquiries with loan officers or underwriters </li><li>Assures Mortgage Loan Officers originate loans within loan policy and/or agency guidelines </li><li>Works to ensure timely loan closing and funding activities </li><li>Maintains a positive working relationship with lending staff, customers, loan operations staff, local professionals, centers of influence, and community organizations </li><li>Participate in community and professional organizations and events </li><li>Uses experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals </li><li>Produce high quality loans which are compliant and provide excellent customer service </li><li>Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for mortgage originations, sales and business development </li><li>Understand and market LCNB National Bank mortgage loan products, stay informed of mortgage industry trends and developments in the assigned market </li><li>Comprehend, retain and apply information as necessary to perform duties and responsibilities effectively </li><li>Additional duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Qualification:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years' experience in mortgage lending </li><li>2+ years' experience leading a mortgage lending team </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or commensurate experience in mortgage lending field </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ability and desire to assist the mortgage lending team in meeting yearly loan origination goals </li><li>Ability to exercise good judgment in establishing and maintaining working relationships, solving problems, and be able to deliver a high level of accuracy, focus and timeliness with limited supervision </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite skills </li><li>Proficiency analyzing and interpreting policies, contracts, credit/financial documents and legal documents as needed </li><li>Strong analytical and mathematical capabilities </li><li>Strong integrity, work ethic, and ability to achieve desired production results </li><li>NMLS (Obtained or transferred within 45 days of hire) </li><li>Experience in federal and state mortgage lending statutes, compliance, and regulatory requirements </li><li>Knowledge & understanding of mortgage underwriting criteria and residential lending concepts and principles for agency and LCNB National Bank portfolio loans </li><li>Ability to build, lead, train, and provide feedback to staff and corresponding managers, maintaining positive and effective relationships </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with associates across the bank, as well as third-party agencies </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work outside of the office 50%+ of the time </li><li>Ability to travel to and from bank offices and third-party locations </li><li>Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment </li></ul> <p>Compliance Statement:</p> <p>The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on LCNB bank by State and Federal law and regulations, as well as all related LCNB Bank policies and procedures. Individuals in Loan Officer positions must meet the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification n requirements. Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.</p>
