If so, than Kalamazoo Valley Community College may have the perfect full-time opportunity for you.</p> <p>The Alumni Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive alumni engagement to strengthen the relationship between Kalamazoo Valley and its alumni community. This role fosters connections through events, storytelling, and partnerships that celebrate alumni achievements, support student success, and promote a lifelong sense of pride in the college.</p> <p>Other responsibilities may include:</p> <ul> <li>Develops, executes and maintains engagement activities to preserve relationships with recent graduates for continued interaction. </li><li>Collaborates with marketing and communications departments to design digital and print publications to highlight the successes of the college, students and alumni in an effort to promote a proud alumni identity. </li><li>Partners with recruitment, outreach, retention and completion efforts to help students see themselves as future alumni from planting the seed at registration, to engagement while they attend the college, to sustained engagement after graduation. </li><li>Assists in the planning and execution of meaningful activities and events for current and past students including alumni panels, inviting alumni to serve on advisory boards or other volunteer opportunities, gathering encouragement for current students and/or soliciting alumni assistance with recruitment. </li><li>Collaborates with others across the college to provide services for alumni such as connecting alumni to career services, opportunities to upskill or continuing education opportunities. </li><li>Engages with businesses to support students and to promote the college. </li><li>Works with the KVCC Foundation to offer opportunities for alumni to give to college scholarship funds. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and skill in the following are desired:</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of college programs, courses, services, resources and instructional programs. </li><li>Knowledge of college and community resources and partnerships. </li><li>Knowledge of customer relationship management and project management tools. </li><li>Skill in event planning. </li><li>Skill in the use of computer software applications as needed. </li><li>Skill in organizing and executing plans with accuracy and attention to detail. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Appropriate education, training, experience, and talents are required. An example of this would be a Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field and three years of related work experience.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Physical Demands: Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening or weekend hours.
