<p>Manufacturing Tech/Assembler/ Machine Operator, 2nd Shift</p> <p>Location: West Des Moines, IA (50265)</p> <p>Job ID: #72506</p> <p>Pay Range: $17-20</p> <p>ON-SITE work only</p> <p>Open to US Citizens</p> <ul> <li>Entry Level Position with (OJT) on the job training, experience with Assembly and/or Machine Operations is a plus </li></ul> <p>THE COMPANY - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <ul> <li>Mechanical Manufacturing Technician / Assembly / Machine Operations is an Entry-Level Manufacturing Tech Trainee position. </li><li>(OJT) On The Job Training will be given. </li><li>The purpose for an Manufacturing Tech is to train/learn the basic understandings of either Assembly or Machine Operations, Operates production equipment. </li><li>Constructs, maintains, and test mechanical systems and components/assemblies. </li><li>Candidate would have manufacturing and/ or small hand tools experience preferably. </li></ul> <p>JOB DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li>Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. </li><li>Performs troubleshooting, calibrations or modifications of hardware, fixtures and software. </li><li>Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify systems and components/assemblies. </li><li>Maintains records of production and reports any issues while following standard procedures. </li><li>Interprets data and accurately records time changes, test data, parts usage, etc. </li><li>Utilizes mechanical or optical equipment, including computers and lasers. </li><li>Provides technical solutions to engineering. </li><li>Ensures systems and components/assemblies meet established specifications. </li><li>Reworks and repairs various mechanical and electromechanical systems and components/assemblies as needed. </li><li>May assist engineering with the design of components and prototypes. </li><li>May be trained/certified in multiple skills. </li><li>May train and mentor new technicians. </li><li>Exhibits Company's Leadership Behaviors and Values. </li><li>Supports and follows all rules/guidelines/standards set by (EHS) Environmental Health Safety , Quality and (CI) Continuous Improvement functions as set by assigned leader and position. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business. </li></ul> <p>OTHER REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>HS Diploma </li><li>US Citizen candidates only </li><li>Pass Drug Test & Background checks </li><li>Able to train on 1st shift if needed then transfer to 2nd shift </li><li>Able to be on time every work day </li><li>Able to work overtime or extended Shifts, if/when it is mandatory or on SATs or SUNs </li></ul> <p>Benefits provided: 401K, medical, dental, and vision, sick time as applicable to state law.</p> <p>Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is an equal opportunity employer.
