<p>Salary (non-negotiable)</p> <p>Paygrade 4 $32,593 - $44,387</p> <p>Paygrade 5 $34,840 - $47,257</p> <p>Paygrade 6 $36,608 - $49,628</p> <p>Includes benefits package.</p> <p>Salary and pay grade based on school assignment and verified full time experience in field.</p> <p>Hours:</p> <p>40 hours, 12 months, 260 days Monday-Friday 1:00 pm - 10:00 pm</p> <p>Contract Unit: This position is part of the supervisory support services bargaining unit.</p> <p>FLSA: Non-exempt</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>High school diploma or GED is required.</p> <p>Minimum of three (3) years of commercial cleaning experience with at least one (1) year of supervisory experience, preferred.</p> <p>Ability to communicate effectively using the English language when deemed necessary.</p> <p>Ability to read labels, instructions, and regulations; ability to fill out forms, logs, and requisition forms; maintain records; and perform simple mathematics.</p> <p>Good work record to include attendance and job ratings.</p> <p>Knowledge and training in general custodial duties to include all aspects of cleaning and operation of custodial equipment.</p> <p>Skill in handling and using grounds and lawn care equipment.</p> <p>Ability to supervise other custodial personnel.</p> <p>Ability to lift/push/pull a minimum of 50 pounds; ability to climb ladders and work at various heights.</p> <p>Some knowledge in carpentry, electricity, heating/ventilating, and plumbing.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Supervise night custodial shift.</p> <p>Distribute supplies to night custodial staff, keep inventory of all supplies and equipment.</p> <p>Secure building, including locking all windows and doors at the end of the shift.</p> <p>Assist Building Service Manager in maintenance and energy conservation procedures.</p> <p>Assume role of Building Service Manager in absence of same.</p> <p>Supervise substitute custodians, including orientation of building and work areas.</p> <p>Ensure absent custodian's work area is cleaned.</p> <p>Maintain building and grounds as required.</p>
