<p>Electrical/Mechanical Technician - Wage ranges from $25.00 - $35.00 / hour</p> <p>Quad is currently seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Technician to work in our Sussex, WI facility. Paid relocation may be available for highly qualified candidates 100+ miles from the plant. Qualified candidates will be able to independently, or as a member of a team, troubleshoot, repair breakdowns, and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment. Successful candidates will also be required to assist with the installation of new and used equipment.</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay - up to $35.00 / hour depending on experience. </li><li>Excellent benefits. </li><li>Great work environment, team culture, and caring co-workers! </li></ul> <p>Your work week will consist of 12-hour shifts. 3 days one week, 4 days the next. Plan to switch from days to nights and vice versa every 4 months.</p> <p>Job duties include, but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance though out the plant specifically focused on automation systems including but not limited to: High Density storage systems, Wrapper systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, Robotic Cells, conveyor systems, etc. </li><li>Conduct diagnostic inspections, both preventative and proactive, repair-type maintenance activities on all production-related equipment. </li><li>Mechanically troubleshoot all equipment, including auxiliaries, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, and blowers. </li><li>Knowledge and ability to work on AC and DC control systems, drives, and motors. </li><li>Utilize electrical and pneumatic schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment. </li><li>Maintain equipment and component documentation for calibration, settings, and proper tolerances. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must have a minimum of 2 to 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting of industrial/manufacturing equipment. Preferably past education in an Industrial Maintenance program or Journeyman status. </li><li>Must be able to routinely and successfully troubleshoot production-related deficiencies and determine a plan to correct and prevent similar conditions through scheduled maintenance tasks. </li><li>Must be willing to support and promote company and departmental safety programs. Work with service orders, and standard operating procedures, while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors. </li><li>Work unsupervised and give directions to coordinate tasks with others. </li><li>Able to work overtime; available to perform on-call responsibilities. </li><li>Must have a High School Diploma/GED. </li></ul> <p>Same Posting Description for Internal and External Candidates</p>
