<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Medical Assistants work in a collaborative environment to deliver excellent patient care under the direction of licensed clinical professionals in a clinic or practice environment. MA's are expected to facilitate all aspects of the patient visit experience.</p> <p>Be the person that make the difference every day in our patients' lives.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <ul> <li>Room set up and patient preparation </li><li>Taking vitals </li><li>Drawing blood and giving injections and immunizations. </li><li>Performing office tests (Point of Care Testing) </li><li>Administrative duties </li><li>May perform or assisting with in-office procedures / treatments </li></ul> <p>What you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of an accredited certified Medical Assistant program, or externship program, or 5 or more years of current, clinically relevant work experience in a physician office or clinic setting (Does not require registration / certification) </li><li>Preferred: RMA, AAMA, AMT, or CMA registration or certification </li><li>Medical Terminology </li><li>Current American Heart Association BCLS / CPR Certification </li><li>Completion of High School Diploma or GED </li></ul> <p>Highlights and Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Day 1 benefits, no waiting period!
