<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>At Saint Francis Hospital the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients. We provide hospice and end of life services.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <p>Supervise charge nurses and frontline staff</p> <p>Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and throughput</p> <p>Support performance management and regulatory compliance</p> <p>Promote evidence-based practices and clinical excellence</p> <p>Foster a healing, inclusive, and respectful environment</p> <p>Lead through change and innovation</p> <p>Build trusting relationships and model compassionate communication</p> <p>What You'll Need</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an accredited nursing program</p> </li><li> <p>Current RN license in Connecticut</p> </li><li> <p>BSN from an accredited school of nursing</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>MSN degree</p> </li><li> <p>Leadership experience or relevant certifications</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule</p> <ul> <li>40 hours Days - Full-time </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
