<p>As Head of Client Management (HCM), you will lead the strategic direction of the Client Management and Field Service teams within the Group Benefits division of Guardian. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service while supporting the profitable growth and retention of our customer base. Working directly with Distribution Leadership and Home Office teams, you will implement strategies to improve overall customer outcomes and satisfaction, optimize productivity and strongly contribute to the financial performance of our client portfolio.</p> <p>You will:</p> <ul> <li>Build and lead a successful team of Client Management and Field Service professionals </li><li>Establish, monitor and achieve performance standards and metrics for the team </li><li>Build effective and collaborative relationships across key internal functions in order to execute upon initiatives which support our strategic priorities. </li><li>Develop and maintain strong relationships at senior levels with our top clients, brokers, and other key stakeholders. </li><li>Partner with Finance and Underwriting on pricing strategies and renewal positioning. </li><li>Provide regular reporting on revenue forecasts, client risk and service metrics. </li><li>Develop and implement action plans which drive enhanced efficiency and reduce operating expenses. </li><li>Design and implement efficient service delivery models to support customer growth and retention across all business segments and products. </li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the client experience and operational effectiveness. </li><li>Partner with Sales leaders to identify growth markets and cross-selling opportunities. </li><li>Actively participate with the Distribution leadership team on market trends as represented by customer and broker feedback. </li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and customer-centricity. </li></ul> <p>You have:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years in a senior relationship executive role required. </li><li>Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred. </li><li>High level of group, worksite and absence management industry knowledge. </li><li>Ability to think strategically and provide thought leadership. </li><li>Strong analytic skills and financial skills with a demonstrated track record in execution. </li><li>Skillful negotiator and experience with conflict resolution. </li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication. </li><li>Exceptional presentation skills. </li><li>Ability to travel nationally as business needs require. </li></ul> <p>Location:</p> <ul> <li>Guardian hub - Boston, NYC, Stamford, Bethlehem, Holmdel </li><li>30-40% travel within the US </li></ul> <p>Salary</p> <p>$225,000</p> <p>The salary reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
