OWDR is seeking a highly motivated intern for the Spring 2026 semester to contribute to workforce development research. The intern will work on two projects: The Apprenticeship Outcomes Literature Review: Identify research related to the impact of apprenticeships on employment, salary, lifetime earnings, and related outcomes. While there is ample research on the impact of college degrees, less exists regarding apprenticeships. We are interested in both peer-reviewed and grey literature. Deliverable: A comprehensive literature reference list in BibTeX format. Project 2: Workforce Data Inventory: Create an inventory of relevant datasets for inclusion in a workforce-focused Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS).The SLDS will enable NYS to make better data-driven decisions about workforce development programs, policy and funding.
