<p>JOB DUTIES</p> <ul> <li>Accept donated clothing, shoes, and household goods through the drive-thru at our Fixed Donation Center. </li><li>Engage with donors and communicate the impact donating has on our community, partners, and planet. </li><li>Interact with truck drivers and other team members to organize and recycle donations in an indoor and outdoor situation. </li><li>Help sustain and maintain a clean and orderly Fixed Donation Center, based on company operational standards. </li><li>Work safely and efficiently in loading and unloading donor vehicles and box trucks. </li><li>Possess the ability to regularly work in the heat, the cold and in wet weather conditions. </li><li>Loading and unloading carts. </li><li>Inspecting and sorting clothing, shoes, and other items. </li><li>Prepping and organizing products for recycling. </li><li>Other duties may be assigned by a working supervisor. </li></ul> <p>SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li><li>Strong work ethic. </li><li>Able to understand and execute company policies and procedures. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize. </li><li>Capable of building and sustaining relationships with peers, management, and donors. </li><li>Able to accurately keep records and communicate progress to management. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple activities at one time. </li><li>Naturally mission driven, guided by core values. </li></ul> <p>COMPETENCIES</p> <p>Never- 0%, Occasionally- 1-33%, Frequently- 34-66%, Continuously- 67-100%</p> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Occasionally - Carrying up to 50 lbs., pushing and pulling up to 25 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 14-foot height, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling and smelling. </li><li>Frequently - Walking on tile/concrete, bending, feeling, and reaching waist/overhead level. </li><li>Continuously - Standing on tile/concrete, talking, seeing, and hearing. </li></ul> <p>Other:</p> <ul> <li>Mostly regular and weekend hours, occasionally working evenings and holiday hours as needed. </li><li>Working environment includes inside of building with controlled temperatures and outside conditions with varying weather and temperatures. </li></ul> <p>IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER NOTICE:</p> <p>The job duties, responsibilities, skills, functions, experience, educational factors, requirements,</p> <p>and conditions listed in this job description are representative only and not exhaustive of the</p> <p>tasks that an associate may be required to perform.
