<p>Job Title:</p> <p>International Student Admissions Associate</p> <p>Department:</p> <p>New York International Admissions</p> <p>Reports To:</p> <p>AVP Enrollment / Director of Admissions</p> <p>Job Overview</p> <p>Berkeley College is currently seeking an International Student Admission Associate to work out of our New York City location. The responsibilities of an International Student Admissions Associate include guiding and helping prospective students throughout the enrollment process. This role serves as a key point of contact for international applicants, representing the institution at recruitment events, and ensuring compliance with immigration regulations and institutional policies.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Must have previous sales and customer service experience along with the ability to work in high high-performance standard, driven and team-oriented environment. </li><li>Must have extensive follow-up skills and the ability to multitask and meet all deadlines. </li><li>Strong communication, follow-up, phone, and computer skills are required along with the ability to work inside and outside during seasonal times. </li><li>Manage and update student records </li><li>Promote the institution's academic programs to international audiences through virtual events, in-person campus tours, and strategic outreach. </li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with agents and educational partners. </li><li>Guide prospective students and families through the admissions and visa application process. </li><li>Review international applications and academic credentials for admission and scholarship eligibility. </li><li>Coordinate and participate in international recruitment fairs, transfer fairs, and webinars. </li><li>Collaborate with campus departments (e.g., registrar, financial services) supporting international student enrollment. </li><li>Provide timely, personalized communication with prospective students via email, phone, and in-person meetings. </li><li>Work with the Designated School Official (DSO) to ensure SEVIS regulations and issuing I-20 documentation are done in a timely manner. </li><li>Track and report on recruitment and enrollment data to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach strategies. </li><li>Collaborate with the office of Student Development and Campus Life to efficiently onboard international students and prepare them for orientation into the College. </li><li>Responsible for attending team meetings and collaborating in a high-energy team environment. </li><li>Receptive to continuous training in product knowledge and to ensure the dissemination of updated and accurate information. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Berkeley College is committed to excellence in diversity and equity and the continuation of an inclusive learning and working environment. We believe in fostering inclusion, acceptance, and understanding in our community by employing individuals who bring unique perspectives to the college.</p> <p>All interested individuals, including people of all races and national origins, people of all ages, people of all religions, people with or without disabilities, and/or people with any gender identity and sexual orientation, are urged to apply.</p> <p>Job Location: NYC Campus with occasional travel to other campuses / attend meetings.</p> <p>Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with international or study abroad students. </li><li>Experience working with office technology/Salesforce, and Power BI. </li><li>Experience or evidence of ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. </li><li>Evidence of communication, public speaking, and organizational skills. </li><li>A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required. </li><li>Strong intercultural communication and customer service skills. </li><li>Willingness to travel internationally and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. </li><li>Familiarity with F-1 visa regulations, SEVIS, and international credential evaluation. </li><li>Proficiency in another language is a plus. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li></ul> <p>Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 USD</p>
