<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Provides maintenance support for mechanical, electrical, equipment, and tooling. Maintains records, manuals, reports, instructions, schedules and forms related to maintenance responsibilities.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance support of facility (inside/outside), mechanical, electrical, equipment and tooling. </li><li>Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components. </li><li>Maintain records to include: equipment manuals, safety inspections, fire protection system inspections, outside technical service reports, appropriate drawings, PM instructions, schedules and forms. </li><li>Design & build fixtures, tooling, gages, and equipment as required. </li><li>Interact with production supervision, engineering, external suppliers, and OEMs. </li></ul> <p>Education/ Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred. </li><li>Basic English reading, writing, math, and listening skills. </li><li>Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting ability </li><li>Experience and some proficiency operating various maintenance and tool room equipment such as power tools, mill, drill press, welders, lathe, press, and band saw. </li><li>Previous industrial maintenance/tool room experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and/or electrical schematics. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (listening, verbal and written). </li><li>Demonstrated safe working practices. </li><li>Demonstrated satisfactory attendance record. </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age. </li></ul> <p>Physical Skills and Abilities:</p> <p>Candidates must be willing and able to work:</p> <ul> <li>In an industrial environment where there will be exposure to elevated high heat and humidity, fiberglass dust, and hazardous chemicals. </li><li>In a safety-sensitive, demanding, detail oriented, deadline driven environment that requires simultaneous handling of multiple priorities. </li><li>Independently and as a member of a team. </li><li>May be required to work up to a 12-hour shift. </li></ul> <p>Candidates must be capable of safely and efficiently performing the following tasks:</p> <ul> <li>Work from verbal and /or written work instructions. </li><li>Lifting and carrying up to 25-50lbs. </li><li>Frequent use of manual, electric, and pneumatic hand tools. </li><li>Frequent standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, ladder and stair climbing and occasional crawling, twisting, and lying. </li><li>Frequent reaching and repetitive manipulation of hands for simple grasping, pushing, and pulling. </li><li>Wearing of personal protective equipment including, but not limited to safety glasses, gloves, protective garments, and respirators. </li></ul>
