<p>The Millis Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and compassionate paraprofessional to support elementary students with special needs in both inclusion and small group settings. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong commitment to supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individualized and small group support for elementary age students across general education and special education classrooms. </li><li>Assist students with academic tasks, behavior regulation, organization, and social interaction. </li><li>Collaborate with general education teachers, special educators, and related service providers to implement accommodations and modifications. </li><li>Support students during transitions between classes and activities throughout the school day. </li><li>Reinforce positive behavior strategies and help implement students' Individualized Education Program (IEP). </li><li>Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school and district policies. </li></ul> <p>The Millis Public Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, age, gender identity, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, disability, immigration status or homelessness. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience working with students with disabilities in an educational setting is strongly preferred. Previous experience with a variety of data collection methods is preferred.
