We are one Snap-on team.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Snap-on in Crystal Lake is seeking a Coordinator in our Assembly department to analyze available inventory, procure inventory shortages, and release production orders on a timely basis. 1st shift hours are 6:00am-2:30pm. You must be able to work mandatory overtime as necessary.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Analyze set order component availability and shortages determining which sets can be built. </li><li>Release production orders </li><li>Expedite procurement of backordered products of set order shortages. </li><li>Research and relay set assembly production questions. Involves looking into receipts and visual stock checks. </li><li>Stock checks, special counts and mixed stock reconciliation and adjustments. </li><li>Quality Assurance investigation and reconciliation. </li><li>Process and distribute weekly set assembly backorder report. </li><li>Contact Supply Chain to have inventoried placed on order and expedited as needed. </li><li>Keep supervisor informed of significant developments that will affect the department scheduling. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Position requires the equivalent of related training equal to 2 years of college or a 2-year technical degree. A college degree B.A./B.S. in an analytical field is preferred. </li><li>Three to five years' on-the-job experience in a warehousing environment. </li><li>Sound knowledge of distribution center operations, including product knowledge. </li><li>Sound working knowledge of LN. </li><li>Sound working knowledge of computers and Microsoft office suite. </li><li>Requires excellent interpersonal, analytical and oral/written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent ability to prioritize workload. </li><li>Ability to perform with minimal supervision. </li><li>Ability to evaluate and make decisions. </li><li>Good sound judgment and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Commitment </li><li>Have the following individual characteristics: flexibility, integrity, dependability, detail oriented, initiative, and motivation. </li></ul> <p>Snap-on is an Equal Opportunity Employer, M/F/D/V</p>
