Two years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination or education and experience. </li><li>Knowledge and ability to use technology and related software. </li><li>Ability to operate commonly used office machines. </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in typing. keyboarding. </li><li>Good interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to manage telephone calls in a courteous and effective manner. </li><li>Ability to greet the public, staff and students with a professional demeanor. </li><li>Required criminal history check and proof of U.S. Citizenship or resident alien status. </li><li>Pass a criminal background check and S4 </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Performance Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receives and routes incoming calls and correspondence. </li><li>Provides customer service support to the school community </li><li>Performs usual office routines, such as photocopying, general typing, filing, etc. </li><li>Assists in the greeting, proper;y signing - in, obtaining visitor's passes and directs visitors as is appropriate for working position </li><li>Prepares correspondence, notices and reports. </li><li>Maintains a well-organized, up-to-date filing system. </li><li>Operates all business machines necessary to complete reports and clerical work required in the operation of the office. </li><li>Arranges meetings, prepares agendas and handles follow-up activities as necessary. </li><li>Assists, logs in, and directs visitors to the schools. </li><li>Maintains confidentiality as required and appropriate. </li><li>Performs other tasks related to the efficient operation of the office as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Technology Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to be proficient in computer applications pertinent to support the position, including but not limited to Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Adobe, Genesis Information systems and Genesis Employee Portal. </li><li>Evaluation of Performance </li><li>Performance of this position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the New Jersey Administrative Code and Board of Education policy. </li><li>Physical Demand </li><li>Physical demands include the ability to remain in a stationary position when necessary, occasionally move throughout the building to access colleagues and/or supplies. Ability to operate a computer and/or other office machinery. Be able to view a computer screen. Ability to communicate verbally, and in writing via technology devices or handwritten correspondence.
