Our health center provides same-day primary care services to every member of the community, regardless of life situation or ability to pay. We also provide a wide array of behavioral health services. Our community Health Care Centers are located at 281 Main St. East Hartford, 40 Coventry St. Hartford and 828 Sullivan Ave., South Windsor.</p> <p>InterCommunity's Addiction Services offers a similarly wide range of substance use treatment and recovery-supportive services, with many sites in the Hartford area. Benefits are effective on the first day of the month following date of hire.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Work Life-Balance-Flexibility, generous Paid PTO, and paid holidays. </li><li>Health & Dental insurance- with flexible contribution options to include 2 HDHP w/ HSA contribution at no cost premium or non-HDHP at a minimal cost to employees. </li><li>Voluntary vision. </li><li>STD, LTD & Disability coverage - employer paid. </li><li>Basic Life & AD&D employer paid. </li><li>Supplemental Life Insurance available. </li><li>401(k) with 3% employer match and 3% employer give after 12 months and 1,000 hours worked. </li><li>Career advancement opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Provides milieu supervision of the program and its participants including coordinates and facilitates social-rehabilitation groups and programs.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for clients and the facility safety and security, including substance abuse screening as directed </li><li>Conducts individual and group social-rehabilitation and care coordination activities including caring a case load of identified clients </li><li>Supervision of participants in the milieu and during (on-site and scheduled off-site activities); conduct scheduled room safety checks </li><li>Maintains confidential progress notes and other documentation on client activities </li><li>Provides necessary approved transportation and program related errands (either in agency or personal vehicle) </li><li>In the event of staff shortage, may be required to work past scheduled hours until a relief staff can be found </li><li>Perform other related tasks as required. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Tuesday - Saturday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM</p> <ul> <li>All agency staff are required to attend all mandatory department/agency meetings and trainings* </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associates Degree in Human Services field or high school diploma (G.E.D.) </li><li>Working knowledge of substance abuse and/or mental health treatment. </li><li>All Residential Support Staff Employees are required to show proof of a CPR Certification within 60 days of official start date. </li><li>Valid Driver License (Preferred). </li><li>CPR Certification within 60 days of official start date. </li></ul> <p>Salary Description</p> <p>Starting Hourly Rate $21.25</p>
