The role ensures alignment of instructional programs districtwide and promotes equitable access to high-quality teaching and learning. Additional responsibilities include oversight of instructional technology planning, support for English Learners and Dual Language Immersion programs, and management of districtwide initiatives such as Art and Outdoor Education. The position also serves as a liaison with key stakeholders and agencies, ensures compliance with educational policies and regulations, and provides mentoring and support to new teachers. Duties are performed under the direction of the Associate Superintendent, Executive Director, or Superintendent. TYPICAL DUTIES: • Coordinate and manage all components of Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, ensuring cohesive and aligned instructional programs across all schools in Lincoln Unified. • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of the District Instructional Technology Plan and serve as a lead for the District Ed Tech Committee. • Provide leadership and support for programs and initiatives serving English Learners. • Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to implement and strengthen the District Dual Language Immersion Program. • Oversee districtwide programs including, but not limited to Art and Outdoor Education. • Stay current with and interpret relevant local, state, and federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures; ensure program compliance. • Serve as a district representative and liaison to community leaders, the Board of Trustees, site administrators, community organizations, the California Department of Education, and the County Office of Education. • Provide support and mentoring for new teachers. • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Associate Superintendent, or Superintendent. Ability to: • Interpret and apply district policies and regulations, state and federal laws and rules, education codes and government codes. • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including (but not limited to) district staff, site administrators, parent and community leaders, community partners. • Prepare and deliver presentations of program information. • Plan, organize and coordinate district goals and objectives. • Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures. • Facilitate decision-making at all levels. • Collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, evaluate, and plan program improvement. • Physical capability sufficient to perform job duties.
